There are so many types of calendars out there, especially bad ones, but these are just a few that bring a little light to the day, and maybe some design inspiration.

OH MY GOD: it is a calendar by Jonas Kamber.

“This is 2010″ Calendar Poster Jonas Kamber. This guy must be so creatively punctual!

Make the day POP with this Bubble Calendar idea. Who doesn’t like playing with this stuff?!

Of course, a spiral calendar to demonstrate the Earth’s rotation. Alone-zino.

Creativebits also put together another great list of 30 of the best calendars of 2010. Great collection!

How about another animation. This one was a little tricky do with to the available dimensions and the fact that the logo itself could not be reduced to fit into one frame.

Smile Gram Paper

Smile Gram Paper is a company that sells custom stationary for parents, and educators to be used with small children.
I was given a mere hour to concept two page layouts with minimal resources including a product image, a logo and to try to make it appear as though it were and online store.

Most recently I have worked on the conception of the “events” page, on Owens Morris Communications’ company site, and its function.

Here is the original site. Take note of the tv/monitor image between the stereo and stacks of newspapers.

Here is a sketch to stir some thoughts about how to address the space.

So I was given a few images to work with for Make-A-Messterpiece and was asked to create a simple animated calendar widget or “skyscraper.” Here is what I was able to put together.
